Interesting. I think Ross Brawn would make a good team principal. Was Whitmarsh the reason Lewis Hamilton left? Anyway, I haven't been impressed with him at the helm.

With only 55 days to go to P1 in Melbourne they don't have much time to get all their
ducks in a row.
With such major changes to "the formula" this year, especially with the power train,
reliability is going to be key during the first few races. Teams that can adapt
technically quickly will have a major advantage.
Dennis is an old hand but the BBC article quoted an insider saying he "did not want
to return to a role on the pit wall at races".
That's exactly where the team principal will need to be so I take it Dennis will
be looking for a replacement fast, either promoting from within the team or
hiring an outsider?
With Brawn aligning himself with Honda, he seems unlikely, but Honda are to
supply engines for McLaren in 2015 so there is that connection.
Whatever happens, here's hoping McLaren are once again a competitive force this
season.
