We stayed with some friends at Portarlington on Wednesday night and were treated to an all night spectacular electrical storm with a great view looking over the Bay. We even saw a couple of fires start from the lightning. I managed to get a ton of shots but here are just a few.
Shots taken with the 6D straight from the camera, no processing.

Cheers Daniel.

That's a very spectacular series.

Nice capture. Did you use a lightning trigger or a series of long exposures hoping to catch something?

Greg.

Seems like all the lightning was on your side of the bay, great shots!

Thanks all the the comments.:) :):)

Thanks Leon, I also like the first one, probably one of my favorites.

Thanks Greg, I shot these manually just by using a remote bulb capture trigger of approx 10 to 15 secs long exposures.
I do have a lightning trigger but it doesn't work properly with the 6D or 7D.:(
I did get a heap more shots but as always happens I also missed some rippers in the split seconds between exposures.

Danielsun,

Brilliant captures!

A blend of two shots that had similar FL/ framing.
I hope you don't mind.
