My first astrophoto

I was digging through my Astronomy folder and found my first 'good' photo that I took myself about a year ago. I took my Nikon AW100 point and shoot 16 mp camera with no real experience on exposure and ISO and held it up to my 25 mm eyepiece. I also found my first DSO (M42) in AVI format, but registax keeps freezing while stacking the frames :(

So here it is if anyone is interested,

re: Registax - check that the avi doesn't have sound - I seem to remember that it doesn't like avi's with sound

That's a good shot, though it needs to be cropped near the Moon borders, unless there's something hiding in the black?
