The Moon as of the 06/01/2014. Still getting used to my new DMK41. The full disc image is actually a panoramic image composed of about 12 pictures across the Moon. The other one is one individual image. I am still having troubles getting the finer details.

I keep adjusting the gain and gamma but it seems I can never get them quite right.

I love the panorama. Looks great.

Your close-up individual image is fine - adjusting gain and gamma won't help with finer details - it's all down to the seeing, and ensuring you nail focus.

Looking real good Nigel. Im not familiar with DMK imagers, but like all cameras, always takes a while to become familiar about their operation and learning how to get the best out of them, , .
I take it the Mosaic was comprised of 12 single pitchers, so have you learnt about stacking lots of images, this will also improve the final result quite a bit ! !
