Please find attached an image taken through relatively thick cloud on Thursday 9th January from Heidelberg, a northern suburb of Melbourne. This cloud cover persisted all day ! An ImagingSource DMK 21AU04.AS camera was used at prime focus, on a 250-mm Newtonian telescope stopped down to 100-mm using a solar filter. An exposure time of 1/2000 s through a Red Baader filter was employed to capture 500 images. Processing was done in Registax 5.
