sharkbite

Folks...holidays left me with some time so I fixed a small problem I had with my dob.
(The mount had a bit of slop so it was a real pain to control when trying to take piccies)
So now I can get about 3 minutes of usable .avi to stack out of a 10 minute session.
Taking a video of Jupiter, I notice that in that time the red spot has moved, and indeed within about 30 minutes had rotated out of view.
My question is this....what is the longest period you should aim for before you start losing detail and Jupiter just starts looking like a stripey ball?
Attached is one I prepared earlier...
