I have final worked out what mount I have if I have done everything right it should be EQ6 Pro/Altas (syncan) (47:12 )total steps 902400 ,worm steps 50137, tracking off set 0.
Can anyone confirm this

Hi Ian,
You are correct, the gear reduction is 47/12, so 3.9167:1
The EQ6's have a 180 tooth worm wheel, so 180(47/12) = an overall reduction of 705:1
However, worm steps would be as below:
200step/revolution motor with 64 microsteps = 12,800 microsteps/motor revolution.
12,800(47/12) = 50133.33 microsteps per worm revolution.
50133.33*705 = 9,024,000 steps/worm wheel revolution

No worries Ian.
Sorry for the error above, it should be as follows:
50133.33*180 = 9,024,000
