HI Guys,
I just had another play with the data I got on Sunday night, and I am now quite happy for someone who has only had 3 imaging runs :)
I've now got more density in the colours and this time I have not cropped - I think it looks good with some "space" around it (Sorry - bad pun).
What do you guys think of the image or do you prefer it to be copped a little closer to the main subject?
Cheers,
Bruce.

Big improvement Bruce. I like it. :)
As to where you crop it, that's up to you.
nebulosity.

This is a fantastic image for only the third imaging run, well done.
As the stars still look OK near the edges, I probable wouldn't crop it.
Cheers
Jo

Thanks all, I appreciate the support and encouragement.
I had a devil of a job uploading this last image to IIS last night and I ended up down sizing the image until it worked.
My higher definition versions are here: http://www.astrobin.com/users/BruceG/

Definitely don't crop it; you get a sense of the vastness of space the way it is. Incidentally, in Astrobin you list your camera as a 300da. I have never heard of this model; as far as I'm aware the only da models
made by Canon were the 20da and the 60da.

G'day Raymo,
Sorry bout that I put 300da because it's a 300 that has been modified for full spectrum. I will amend it. Thanks for your advice. It's a great community here!
Bruce.

Change it to "300D Full Spectrum".

Or perhaps 300D Mod.
