Hi,

Had a crack at thor's helmet last night with average seeing.
This is 2 hours of Ha and O3 mapped as LRGB-> O3.Ha.O3.O3

Ha - 6 x 10min
O3 - 6 x 10min

10inch F4, STF8300M, Baader 8nm Filters, NEQ6, Lodestar.
Processed in Startools.

I may have pushed the saturation a bit too much, but I can't make out the amount of stretching or colour on my laptop. so suggestions welcome.

Nice work Alistair, as you say maybe a little over saturated, but it still looks a good image.

Another good Thor's Helmet.
Makes me want to image this target.

Me too! Somehow this one has escaped me.

Very nice sharp detail Alistair. The colour mapping you've used is a good one. It gives quite a natural look. I've often used it as well.
Saturation looks OK to me, but I usually push it fairly hard myself

That's come out pretty well Al and I don't think the saturation is too high at all, colour is good and detail not bad either

Beautiful image Alistair! I like the saturation too, not overdone at all I think. Seems the 10" scope is working well!

Really nice image Alistair.

Your stars look a bit too red to me. Otherwise great image.
