I collected this data a few months ago and have just now gotten around to processing it. NGC7090 is quite small within the frame, but nevertheless makes a tidy image in context with many background galaxies across the whole frame. You can also see some galactic cirrus on the left / lower left side of the frame.
Also noteworthy is a distant ring galaxy a short distance above NGC7090 and an intricate spiral to the lower left of the frame.

All data taken with the Bunyip 12.5 Newtonian / STL-11000M :
L - 4.5hrs, RGB - 2hrs each channel.

Nice result David, gotta love distant background galaxies...they are sooo cute  7090 looks a lot like NGC 3628 in Leo...wonder if a tidal tail might show up under darker skies and a longer exposure, have you stretched it to see?...bet I could find a jet :P
Good to see something from you and that marvellous scope again BTW
Mike
ps. wonder what Macus is cooking up...all quiet down there ;)

A beautiful galaxy photo David.
Great detail and I love the "wide" composition.

That's definitely a mighty 12.5" scope.

Thanks Mike; I can't see a tidal tail but I have taken the hint and stretched the background to better show the faint extensions and galactic cirrus ;)
All quiet down here? ... the lull before the storm ...
Thanks for all the nice comments guys!

lovely frame David - resolution and colour are excellent and background field is also interesting.
