Damn clouds...
I've made my paper TARDIS and Dalek, and I was still bored so I decided to strip all the stars from my latest image of M42.
Love it or hate it, I don't care, I like it. LOL It gives you a chance to explore the neb without distraction.

Lol, you achieved your goal. Not bad. Though if I did something like that I would have an epic fail lol

There is a big blue disk at the 5'o'clock position. Otherwise I love it!

Yeah, the big blue disk is inherent with the scope dammit. I get huge halos on the bright stars.
The scope needs it's collimation tweaked just a fraction but I'm not game enough to tackle a triplet.

It only took an hour to stamp out all the stars. LOL

Verry creative jj Nice result after letting freddie loose ;) I shudder to see you even stamped out the 'trapp' ? You took many short subs specifically for them and you just stampped them out tooo, , arhhhgg, must have been a little painful ?
The starless result is a good one none the less, Noice work
