Some years ago I had a pocket of money crying out "Buy astro toys. Buy astro toys.":)

I thought if I spend money on myself and only myself I will be sleeping with Rambo, the Border Collie. I approached SWMBO. I made my intentions clear. "Sweetie, can I buy you something expensive?" A diamond ring was her answer.

I got my $4000 scope, (for $3000) and SWMBO loved her ring, valued at $4000 on special for $2000. All happy

My advice, Barry, is have a sweetener for SWMBO. Spend $5 now and then on just a single flower. Tell her its just for being her. An understanding partner. Before you spend big. Buy the little lady something too. Don't tell her. Keep it hidden. Its got to be substantial.:question:

That will then afford you some license to buy your toys. :D

When and if you are found out or better still is if you know you are about to be discovered, announce the gift to the little boss.

Many a time that has secured Rambo's sleeping quarters as his own maintaining peace on Earth.:)
