Anyone interested in a long distance game of Chess via email?
It will probably be best to use personal emails to avoid polluting the IIS forum. The game could last a week or take months to finish.

Stu.

Sorry not up to a challenge but if you want an opponent....have you played against computer chess software?
Even free software such as this (http://stockfishchess.org/) will play grandmaster level chess and wipe the floor of 99.9999% of the human race.:(

I'd be up for a game but, as I'm currently between chess sets, would you consider a game online?
I used to play using http://www.itsyourturn.com, basically they have a simple graphical chess board and they email you when it's your turn, it's a fairly basic website too but it used to work quite well :)
If you do want to give it a try just sign up (free and I haven't had any spam yet), make a new game and invite me. My username on there is "Plut0" (note the zero).

Sounds good Hugh. I will have a look at the website and get back to you.
