And here is this season's obligatory M42. :)
3hrs and 20min of data, not including the 10sec and 30sec subs I took for the core.
Sadly the seeing has been atrocious so the stars in the Trap aren't as nice as I would have liked them.
Scope - ED127
Camera - CDS1100D
Stacked in DSS and processed in CS3.

Actually a pretty good image Jeanette, love the whispy detail in the outer part of the nebula. Good work.

A very nice M42, JJJ! Colours are great and details are good too despite seeing. The only slight negative is the sharp edge of big blue halo at the bottom right.
