Had a stab at processing some moon shots from the other night. This is a crop of a stack of 50 images using Registax 6.
Nikon D7000 @ 1/1600 @ ISO 640
10" Reflector with a 2.5x TV PM on a NEQ6

Would love to know how to get the best out of these images, as my processing skills are very limited.
Regards

Bob

Great shot. I think the fast shutter speed and relatively low ISO has really helped you there. I struggle with my refractor which results in lower shutter speeds and higher ISO due to the effect of f/6 being doubled or tripled.

Thanks guys. Yes Roger, it did help, the 5x powermate was too much, and needed higher ISO and lower speeds and seemed softer.
Using just the 2.5x helped keep most of it in the centre of the image and so was a bit flatter overall. You can see it getting softer at the edges but I'm still happy with it for a newt.
Cheers
