Seeing was quite poor last night, about 3-4. Here are some Jupiter images from last night. Surprising how close Red jr is to Great Red, now.

Processing details: ppmcentred, RGBSplit, separate processing in Registax, VC deconvolution and recombine in AIP4WIN, a little unsharp masking and gamma adjustment in Paint Shop Pro.

Very nice work with the LPI !

Well done, you have the 3D look rocking too. :)

Hi Adam,

Very nice images, you have mastered the LPI. I also like the 3D look.

The LX200 10" is resolving heaps of detail.

Thanks asimov, Lester and Ezy!

It was nice to get out with the telescope again - I've been too busy lately with other astro projects!

I love my Meade telescope. I find if it is properly cooled and collimated it delivers fantastic images.

Nice Adam, I prefer the last one. The other 3 appear a bit dim and lifeless.

Nice job!

Totally down to the seeing! All images were processed the same way. The 4th run was the best of the lot. The 5th run was worse than any of the others (I didn't even bother processing that). I slewed over to the moon after this lot and did a couple of runs - it looked like waves crashing over the moon. Shortly after, I packed the gear away.

Thanks RB! :D
