That's pretty cool.
On your BlogSpot you have a great Elephants Trunk nebula. I love the colours- what LRGB?NB combo did you use?
Cheers
Graham.

Interesting to compare the extra detail picked up with the extra exposure. Well worth the extra time to fill it out like this.
Very nice.

Beautiful! I just did the same field with the same lens, it will be nice to compare our results.

Very nice field. Beaute colours.
Cheers Marc,
It's try'n error with NBRGB script (PI) ...
Thanks Nicola,
Do you have both RGB and Ha?
Thanks mate,
I don't regret any second I spent in my backyard with all the mossies flying around my head like squadrons of Messerschmitts.
Ta Mike, I like the improvment too

Nice work - looks awesome! How did you isolate the Ha. Did you use a Ha narrow band pass filter on the lens? I thought about stacking an IR630 (passes infrared from 630nm) and a visible + Ha pass filter on my 6D to achieve this.
I used astronomik EOS Ha clip-in filter, of all astronomik clip-in filters (in my opinion) one worth having !!!

Awesome just doesn't cut it. :)
This is cool. You just reminded me I have an unused nifty fifty and a HA filter that wants to come out to play.
By the way, the rest of the images on your site are pretty darned good to. Noice:thumbsup:
Well done Ian, it's a wonderful image with Ha ;)
Thanks Ross,
Thanks Jeanette,
