The exhaust trail blurring the moon is really something. Great capture!

Smart A.. :) Another great transit shot, your certainly in the right spot for them, wish we had a greater range of aircraft transiting... Was thinking of going to Parafield to try get one one day....

Thanks Justin. It was moving quite fast ( some appear to be traveling faster than others) and I wasn't sure 1/1000 would be fast enough to freeze the plane.
Also it appeared lower than some of the others I have shot.

Thank you Eric :)

Cheers Dennis. I enjoy these transits. They all seem to be different.

Thanks Rod :)

Thanks Prokyon :)

Cheers Stephen:)

Thanks Darren. Yeah the trails are awesome. Sometimes I can see craters in them as the light is reflected ( although it could be my imagination) :)

Haha thanks. Sometimes smart doesn't cut it Andrew:) luck still plays a large part. There have been many occasions were they all missed... Many occasions lol

Thanks Dutch. Yeah even at 1/1000 he Moon still looks great. :)

:) thanks Stefan

It's a conspiracy for sure! that's clearly a US NSA/CIA modified drone craft intentionally being flown into the moon, to start a war with China :scared: :eyepop:

Great capture

 yeah those pesky drones.
Yes good theory, they also could be targeting that German base on the dark side of the Moon... Iron Sky style:lol:
Cheers.

Steve, catch is fantastic, no doubt about it, but (for me) the huge watermark right across the centre is a nonsense ..

Thanks Ian.
Many others would probably agree with you and in an ideal world, i too would like to.
However, after finding one of my transit images on someone's website/blog (purely by accident) with no credit, no permission AND my watermark that was in the bottom right corner cropped out, I watermark my transit images across the middle now.
Maybe I am being too idealistic, but i would have thought a little bit of courtesy goes a long way for those that like to "borrow" images.

Thank you Ric.
I have set up the last two evenings for more transits but with no luck.
I have noticed the path the high altitude aircraft take which helps in planning for a high alt transit which is next on the to do list :)
