It was an exciting launch, very reminiscent of the late 50s, early 60s launches.

I wonder how long it will be before they declare a flight exclusion zone around the landing site.

The Rabbit has landed
Great achievement for China, but then, this doesn't really surprise anyone, does it?
Cheers
Steffen.
Have they shown any footage yet??
This is from ABC News -
Sounds like a cartoon... I can't imagine a group of NASA scientists bursting into applause at the sight of a cartoon!

I was videoing the Moon at the time of the landing along with an iPhone held up to the camera which had the live feed going. It flew directly over Copernicus on it's way to Mare Imbrium - East of the planned landing site in Sinus Iridum and just on the edge of the Hi-Res survey zone images taken by the Chang'e 2.
