Hello :) some humble efforts from last night where for the first time :P I captured/used flat frames/dark frames and hmmm Bias frames .Took a while to get everything but in the end I got 20 {100sec@800ISO with a 80ED} light frames of M17 and M20,10 flats/12 darks and 10 bias frames and then let Images Plus do the work :D .Added some cropped images as well, dont know if thats ethical though.Jupiter looed good through the eyepiece early evening so grabbed some pics to:)

Nice going Stuart. :2thumbs: Good to see you getting out there. That's a pretty big night, DSOs and Jupiter. And good shot's to boot. You'd have to be happy with that.

Oh...and cropping is definately allowed, how else can we get rid of those crappy sections near the edge. ;) Well near the edges of mine anyway

Thanks mate, the scopes tracking is driving me bananas so i'm surprised I kept at it for as long as i did {motivation>Maria Sharapova's Wimbledon game was after midnight-had to stay awake:) }some frequent driveway tension walks where needed though

Astrophotography is the most difficult frustrating weather dependant and equipment dependant pastime in the Universe but when everything works at once it is better than ? .......fill in your second pastime here.

Any result is better than none!
