I remember the first night I got the new LX90 home and did the built-in sky tour (or what ever it is) and I saw a my second globular cluster. I thought "Argh great! Another load of dots" Now that I know their place in the cosmos, I am really quite in awe of them! Here's a top site for sorting out the little buggers http://www.seds.org/messier/glob.html

Lovely capture, resolved beautifully toward the core. were you guiding through your cokebottle 80 ? I'd love to see a photo of it !

thats a fine image of Omega C..from home-and not from a dark site-well done indeed.
