A friendly visitor

Yesterday about lunchtime I spotted this (estimated) 8-foot long Taipan on the other side of the flyscreen. It travelled the length of the balcony and went behind a cupboard. Today it stuck his head out so I snapped a few pics. The quality of the photos is poor as it was early in the morning and there was (safety) glass between us - and I'm not too big on window cleaning.

If I spot it again I will have to get it removed but hopefully it'll get bored with my company and move on.

nice rare pics. can't say there is many pics of wild taipans.... that are still alive!. such beautiful animals. least your mice population would be nearly zero around the house :)

Rare pics indeed but after living with lots of Brown snakes in Jindabyne I'm over them as far as company goes.
