Had to come into work last night around 8pm (still at work now, 12:30am wednesday :( ), anyway on the way into work I was listening to the local ABC 702 Sydney with James O'Loghlin's evening program.

He has a trivia quiz, and he also has a theme, some question that he talks to you about before he asks you the trivia question.

Last nights theme was "What's an inanimate object that you love".

So I thought, "my website" was a good answer, so I rang them up and sat in the queue.. My turn came up, told him my website, and he said "is this going to be a cheap plug for your site?", and I said "of course" :)

Explained that it was a site I started for amateur astromers, with forums etc for those interested in telescopes and stargazing. He asked why iceinspace, I explained it was from my nickname iceman which I had from my online gaming days, we talked about online gaming for a bit..

Anyway I answered 2 questions right but didn't know some song so didn't go any further in the quiz :)

New member Starman1 (and maybe xelasnave as well) signed up after hearing about the site on the radio, so hopefully more will come along and visit and sign up as well :computer:

Now to find out how I can plug IceInSpace at SPSP :P After all, there'll be a lot of people there who would be interested in visiting, I would think :confuse3: :cool3:

Yay Ving, about time :P

It would be great if everyone else who belongs to an astro club or meets up with other observers, plug the site and forums and get them coming here too!

How many people have said "wish I knew about this earlier"? So let's get the word out there. Word of mouth will spread it faster than I can pimp it!
