This is probably not the correct forum for this but I've just installed a new mount courtesy Mr M Pugh. Will start imaging once I work out how to drive it.
Cheers

That should be capable of flinging your big scope around with ease, Steve!

The PME is an amazing mount. I thought you were already using one.
I would use Pempro for the PEC and The Sky X and use the super model feature of the T-Point add on to get polar alignment perfect and then create a large T-Point model of around 300 points and turn Protrack corrections on. PEC handles the high frequency PE and Protrack handles the slow flexure issues.

I've been in denial about the capabilities of my current mount so I thought I would make the move while I had Martin's assistance to set it up. I haven't done any Tpoint yet but that will probably happen this week.
Thanks Logan
Thanks Marcus. I should have done something like this a long time ago but boy I've spent a lot on astronomy this year. Ah well - you can't take it with you.
Thanks Rick - certainly hope so
Thanks Paul. Early indications are that it is very easy to drive.
Thanks Marc. I'm certainly hoping for an improvement from the HGM200.

I've got a 6 star T-point model.
Programed the PEC, but often forget to use it as it tracks RAW +/- 2 arc sec. (I was lucky enough to have an early model..before Bisque downgraded the spec. )
Pointing? It nails objects every time...but I invariably change the framing anyway.
Well done...You'll love it!
