Support your Ice in Space Forum with a purchase from a local seller

With the approval of Mike I have asked if I can place an add on this forum for my DSLR Triggers. I would like to return $4.00 from each purchase back to the Forum. With pressure from China I am trying to promote my local made product and in turn give back to the forum that has helped me greatly in this hobby.

Many of you will already be aware of my product and many will be using it now. Sold now for over 5 years and used by many storm clubs and groups. I make these triggers myself and try to keep the operation simple and the costs down. You will get good results from this item day or night. The trigger is supplied with a standard 2.5mm Canon cable that suits many of the Canon DSLR's. Adaptors to suit just about any other DSLR Camera are obtainable for around $7 and I can advise what is required to suit your Camera Model.

Item is supplied with a Rain cover to protect your camera and a mount to attach the Trigger to your Camera on the Hot Shoe Mount.

More information can be found on my website at the bottom of my profile (scopepics) or on the Bay. DSLR Lighning Trigger. Some of the images taken were from members of IIS (thank you Bob and Hughy)

Also this trigger is great to capture Fireworks.
Below is a link to one of my triggers being used to capture fireworks by one of my customers

Which DSLRs does it work with?

Will work with just about any DSLR. I supply only the 2.5mm Canon cable with the item and you will need an adaptor for other camera's. Cost around $7. If you send me a PM with your camera details I can advise what adaptor you may need and how to obtain one. By using this system it allows you to keep your trigger should you ever change your brand of camera. All you need to do is get another adaptor.. It also allows you to move it from one brand to another in a very simple way.

I hope I have been some assistance

Hi Mardy,

I gotta say that I have one of your lightning triggers bought on Ebay, (didn't know you were an IIS member, cool!), and I was showing a mate of mine the other day some pics I took of the lightning in the daytime as he did not think that was possible. and he was blown away. He wants one and I'd like to get one for him before christmas. Are you able to supply one in time for Christmas? I have used other triggers, but one fell apart and the other one was adjustable but it always seemed to drift and not work that well. Also can you send me the link for the adapters as he has a Nikon. My camera is a Canon. Cheers, Redbeard.
