ISON from Brisbane this morning 17:18UT 19th November 2013 (3:18am 20th), in infrared at 200mm focal length, cropped. Also attached is a 100% crop at 85mm in normal light. Getting a bit low!
Thanks for looking,

Thanks Tom I'm stuffed if I can see it either with bino,s or a camera shot. I really will be surprised if this comet performs as the hype suggests lets hope it does.
Cheers derek

Great shots once again Tom. The IR filter should help cut through the low alt murk.
Nice work Tom.... it's getting big....

Thanks guys. Kevin that's what I thought but am wondering if IR picks up much from the comet

Yeah it's a trade off. From the spectra I've seen, most of S1 ISON is yellow green. http://www.virtualtelescope.eu/2013/10/21/comet-c2012-s1-ison-spectrum-17-oct-2013/ But your IR shot still looks pretty good.
It least we can say we saw it IF it does go ballastic in a few weeks!
