Hitchhiker posted a very nice LPI Jupiter, taken on the 12th June (forum thread here) (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=10790).

He uploaded 2 of the better avi's, and I did my "usual" to them.

Attached are the results.

I think it's one of the best images I've seen come out of an LPI. Very well done Adam.

The process I use to process images is fully documented in a tutorial which will be live on the site TOMORROW!

Yes very nice LPI images Adam, and well processed Mike. Nice amount of detail across the whole planet.

Great work guys!

Looking forward to this "live" tutorial Mike. Do we get to see you standing out the front of the classroom in a white lab coat and sporting crazy Einstein hair???

just had another look....

er... mike, upon review i noticed that your reworked ones show less detail and arent as sharp... they also show more blue, was this intentional?

I think my processing is a bit heavy handed. Mike has brought out the same detail, but with a smoother, more natural look. IMHO, anyway.

thats excellent work Mike and Adam. Never seen anything like that from the LPI. It goes to show that it can keep up with the toucams :D

Thanks Ezy and hevelsky!

I think a lot of people underestimate the poor old LPI.
