Here I am with a new image to show you. This is the time of the dark nebula B170 in the constellation of Cepheus. As it is easily noted, it is a very dense region, rich of stars and dust clouds (after all we are looking toward on of the most crowded fields of the Summer Milky Way). The ionized hydrogen component, responsible for the red hue all around, is also very rich and for this reason I added to the initial LRGB composition some light frames with an H-alpha narrow band filtre.

Clear skies!

Yep that is a nice area of the sky. Nice processing. More in line with traditional looking nebula colours.

Thanks a lot for your kind comments!

@RickS: I agree, SL17 seems to have a more predominant HII region with respect of B170 though.

Great work Nicola. Have to pleased with that. Star colours are superb and the dark nebulae contrasts so well against the hydrogen rich background. Really enjoyed what you've presented. More please.
