This is 26x4 min of each of RGB. My observatory is only 16 km from Melbourne so I have to deal with light pollution. Gradients are the main pain.

With many more frames this image could be improved.

Here is the data as a 16 bit tiff to play with. It has only been corrected for flats and darks and aligned with RegiStar. 38MB

Bert,

Data is just fine - doesn't need much more - just got to S T R E T C H it more, and then saturate it a little more.

I'll have a crack and post it.

Hi Bert,
I wouldn't mind having a go at processing it.

Would you be able to post 32 bit FIT median stacks?

Also - do you have any short exposures for that bright core?

It's coming out VERY cyan after stretching. Unusual.

The data is holding up well though - so little noise! I have stretched it DRAMATICALLY with no introduction of noise/pixelation.

The blue/cyan is being problematic. Tried balancing, but then it looks green.

Anyway, best these tired eyes can do tonight

that sure is a corker image Bert - the depth is impressive and the main object is beautifully defined.
