Horsehead and Flame Nebula
This is a combination of the broadband RGB from late-Feb 2013 http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=103484 (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=103484)
and the currently acquired images in Ha. Total Ha is worth over 2h in 2-3min subs @ Iso1600.
While using the NBRGB script I tried several options of the RGB-to-Ha ratio and in my opinion, rather conservative, I think, 0.5xHa was the value I liked the most.
Cam: EOS 60Da + Ha Clip Filter
Scope: ED80TCF
Guiding: PHD guided CPC925
Stacked, processed and NBRGB-combined in PixInsight …

Wow! Thats very good Ian!
The colours look really good now. Well done
Thanks guys ..

David, in "standard" PI there is nothing, but in PI forum you can find link to NBRGB-script that was specifically written to combine Ha, OIII and RGB images.
There you can set the ratio between Ha and other image's component(s).

Combine worked well.
Cheers,

Thanks Justin,

Yes, I’m happy with the Ha addition to the broadband RGB produced by 60Da.
I was thinking whether you can use the Ha filter with your unmodded 1100d, but that combination may not produce reasonable outcome ..;)

I aggressively decreased the HIGHLIGHTS and then (trial & error) found the balance between the broadband RGB and Ha.
