For my Vixen DED 108SS, I needed something better than the massive abrupt step down from the 4" drawtube to the 2" camera interface - I felt I was losing/scattering some light, especially for the Sony Super HAD chip in the SXVR-M25C.
So, I drew this up in PS (I am not a CAD person), and sent it to my astronomer mate cum machinist (Hugh Esmond, aka Ubique on IIS). Hopefully he will have it back soon.
Anyway, I hope the design meets approval and I throw it out there for anyone to use. The cone attaches to the drawtube adapter and is rotatable, secured by 3 thumbscrews (with a square mortise, as you can see, for better security). The M42 screws onto the camera face. You can then freely rotate the camera without any special anything :)
The dimensions are specific to the Vixen DED108SS, so vary as needed.
