Mine are the same as Suzy's, but I do have a soft spot for the dumbell, m 27.
I've heard the eight burst ngc 3132 sometimes referred to as the " Southern Ring" planetary.
Great to find them always, especially in smaller apertures at power.
Cheers bigjoe.

hmmmmmmmmmm,
Something is going on here Ron :)
My favourite planetary nebula are almost the same as yours, just like the globs, except one different.
IC 418 (Spirograph)
NGC 3132 (Eight Burst)
NGC 3242 (Ghost of Jupiter)
M57 (Ring)
NGC 5189 (Spiral Planetary)
These of course are all pretty bright and easily seen in small scopes. A couple that I really like better suited to larger scopes and dark skies are NGC 246 (Cetus) and Shapley 1 (Norma). NGC 246 with its darker sections reminds me of those little transparent jellyfish with the 4 separate circular sections visible in their bodies, you sometimes see under jetties and the like and Shapley 1 reminds me of the perfect smoke ring.
Cheers,

John, NGC 246 I liken to the Mercedes-Benz sign,I first saw this at Astrofest in my 8' SCT,and has been a favourite ever since.
Shapley 1 as you say is a good target for larger scopes.
I am sure we could easily pick 10 PN's,but five was the ask so some had to miss out :(
Cheers:thumbsup:
