Normally images are posted in the deep space category - just so you know otherwise its likely to be missed.

Lovely image. So clear and transparent. Some halo reflection issues on bright stars. Did you use a corrector with uncoated optics? I haven't seenn reflections like that from Astrodon Gen 11's before.

I really like this one, great detail in the dust structures. Was this a hard image with the 6303? I'm only asking because I'd assume blooming would occur?

Warren, top job. Barry has made some nice scopes. Very nice FOV, colouring looks very attractive.

Thanks Greg, will post to images/deep space in future! Guys, thanks- Brett would have to provide opinion on the cam, but I do know the filter flares were from Gen 1s which are now replaced w/ Gen 2s.

Kicking myself guys, Brett has corrected me that he used his Tak FSQ as well as the STL-11000M and Gen 1 filters on this one, I will update tomorrow!

The haloes are very noticeable on the data, Warren must have done a lot of work to get the haloes as unobtrusive as they are in the final image. I showed Don Goldman at AAIC this data set and he was quite surprised with the amount of haloes from his gen 1 filters, but he acknowledges that it was filters and I ordered gen 2 filters that day.

Since installing the gen 2 filters the halo effect is gone completely.

Originally, custom scientific filters came with the camera and they did not have haloes either.... but changing filter wheels I dropped the green filter and it smashed. Hence the gen1 filters then gen 2 filters.

The 6303 would bloom to hell with this sort of image.... targets with bright stars and nebulosity don't go well with NABG cameras. They are however killer on NB and galaxies.
