Hi mates,
after two months under rain and clouds we finally had a clear window, so I threw everything in the car and drove for 150Km to our favorite site.
I collected 4 hours on M33 thinking it was enough so in the middle I changed subject, starting to integrate on M42, but I was wrong....
...well, I already know my next session: 4 hours on M33 and the remaining on M42.
Here the result on M33

Comments are welcome.

Hi Jeff,

I'd like to have a look, but it links to a thumb sized image?

Ok! Now I see it!

Very nice detail Jeff, and I can see interesting fine dark cloudy sections there.

fine, but I've to reprocess it afresh, cause I made a mistake in color balancing step... that's why the galaxy is 'white'....
Experience for the next one ;)
Thanks.

Rainy days... no way to grab the ISON..... :(
Finally I reprocessed M33 files.
Here the result. I hope you like it.

Nice picture Jeff. The repro shows much better colour and definition, but you've lost a bit of the outer halo.

Hi guys,
Thanks for comments.
I've lost halo because I didn't push too much on elaboration and moreover I exclude the first 6 pics, where the background was too high.
In the next session I hope to add more integration and grab some Ha regions, also because the Canon is now baaderized :D:D:D:D

Looks pretty good to me although the colour is a bit muted. Certainly great detail.

Cheers

Thanks all,
I'm spending hours and hours on tutorials trying to get the best from my raws but I still have to learn a lot.... :computer:
Now, I just have to wait for new Moon and pray for some clear skies.
