Not a recent photo sorry. Taken on my KM 7D a few years ago on a trip out from Kaikoura to see the whales.

Don't have any recent ones, but I took this about a year ago at Pumistone Passage on Bribie Island. Love the sunset and the Glasshouse Mountains in the background.

This picture was taken very early on the morning of 2 January this year at Broadbeach. It was such a peaceful time and place to be. A half hour later and it was like being in the Pitt St Mall with the number of people walking up and down the beach!
Cheers,

Although this photo was posted recently, I thought it was a good consideration for this months theme. So here it is again.:P

This is one of many images I took one morning when Rick ( another IIS member ) and I went to Avoca Beach before Sunrise to try and put our new DSLR's to good use.
We were lucky to catch the light and colours as we did, as the Sun rose and it all changed so quickly.
Anyhow we had fun that morning and thanks for looking.

An old picture I found of the Solar eclipse 2012, taken in Port Douglas.
(this is a really awesome picture, but the 500 kb limit really takes the awesome out of it so here is a link to the full size http://i42.tinypic.com/aetbmp.jpg )

This is a bit old but I still love it. The color of the light was lovely. The girl didn't like crabs and was holding on to get out of the 'infested water' before they were attacked! It was so funny. I could hardly keep the camera still after she screamed.

For the past year I have been taking pics on and off of the Sunrise but this pic this morning I think represents something uniquely Australian. Taken form the traffic bridge at Brunswick Heads with a Canon 6D and 28-300mm Zoom.

I took this picture last year when visting Cornwall. The Jurassic coast of Cornwall is spectacular and this particular photo shows the change in geology from white cliffs to red cliffs. I like to include people in my shots as much as possible just doing what they like to do.
Some amazing shots in here!! This is the first time I've entered the IIS photo challenge. Please be gentle! ;)
This image was taken at Rye in Victoria late 2012.
