Hi,
Decided to grab some more data for the Fox Fur and Cone nebula in between imaging comets Saturday morning.
I have 128 minutes of data in total with data gathered earlier this year.. The image demonstrates the advantage of gathering more data.
I've supplied a link to my original image.
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/attachment_browse.php?a=130586
I've also learned a few more processing tricks since then.
Stars are bit crappy toward the edge of this cropped image. I'm not sure but it may have to do with the first lot of data taken with a type one mpcc coma corrector and the second with a type three.
Equipment used.
8” F/4 astrograph , baader type coma corrector,. HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D.
16 x 8 minute subs ISO 800 &1600, darks, flats and bias frames applied.
Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker .Processed in Photoshop 7.
Cheers,
Justin.
