I have two new, never used Manfrotto 056 Camera Mount ideasl for piggybacking a camera (DSLR or other) onto a scope, tripod or other.

These sell for around $80.00 from Ted's camera stores

http://www.teds.com.au/manfrotto-056-3d-junior-head

I'm asking $60.00 each including postage within Australia.

I've been using one of these on my rig for several years and I can say from personal experience that it is a very strong, stable and very easily adjusted camera mounting.

Please PM if interested.

Cheers,
Luke

For anyone with a Polarie or an iOptron-type tracker that sits on a tripod, these will be great for fine-tuning a SCP alignment. Put the Manfrotto on the tripod and then attach the Polarie etc to that, tilt to correspond to Latitude and rough align to true south and then fine-tune the azimuth while looking through your reticle or other device. SHould be capable of quite fine adjustments.

OK. great.
Looks like both have sold.

The easiest way to mount it is to screw it to the top of one of the scope rings. That's what I do anyway (to the rear one).

Cheers.
