I wasn't going to bother posting since I barely got a 2 minute hole in the clouds. Stupid clouds. Come sunrise and they all cleared out! Not fair.

Two frames stacked, one 62 seconds, one 50 seconds at ISO 1600, SW 120mm F5 refractor, Pentax K-x, Baader Semi-APO filter.

As the comet heads south it will move into a bank of trees so doesn't look like I will ever get a good shot of this thing.

It is infinitely better than my attempts so far! So don't be too disheartened :)

Heck Peter I can see the comet. Great for such a short stint.
I will have no chance up here, have been trying Jupiter for weeks, no luck.

It shall be an interesting view,
radio report was good for viewing in SA, that's my location
at present,
set the telescope up in mid Nov, when best, as reported,

look forward too the view,
