Hi Guys
Processing this produced crazy colours, but on checking Astroanarchys effort, he pretty much got this colour mix too. Thats how it looks in NB :P.
Pretty dim, specially SII so:
Nebula NGC2035 in narrowband (http://fredsastro.smugmug.com/Photography/Astrophotography-1/i-vjBXcGC)..(click for big) Mapped as Ha SII Ha OIII (LRGB)
Taken on an RCOS 10" RC Scope at f9, SBIG STXL6303E Camera and PME mount at itelescopes Siding Spring Observatory.
40hrs of 3nm Ha bin1,4hrs of OIII bin2 and 9 hrs of SII bin2.
Processed with CCDstack, Star Tools and Photoshop.
SII required 40min subs at bin2!. Ha were 40min subs also and OIII 20min.
Some of the nebulae structure is very interesting.

Magnificent work Fred. 53 hours, wow, your remote setup is really paying dividends. LMC is an imaging smorgasboard with so many interesting nebs.

Thanks Greg, the data just pores in, day after day, it's a struggle finding time to process it, thers another 50 hrs of other stuff waiting to do.
Your LMC is a handy reference, I hope to cover most of it.

As mentioned on Facebook, another beautiful work of art; a very poetic image.

How cool are those two torus's  Very Vanderhaven'ish Fred ;)
The stars at the bottom look slightly elongated and out of focus compared to the top, no biggy though and easily tinkered with
Great work, at this rate you should have the LMC covered before you retire

Thanks Guys. Yes the bottom isn't flash, there's a problem with cam orthoginality of some thing, it's always like that, eggy stars. If I get reminded enough, I'll slit my throat, it's a bit far away to casually tweak, so I just crop more.

Cool detail Fred. Interesting colours. Sub length? I started doing Ha on this very same pair about a month ago. Doing 30 minute subs but then another object got my attention. Might have to venture back when time permits. Looking forward to the other 50 hours of data.

An amazing shot.
What are those weird shaped clouds of gas caused by -
a supernova explosion?

Thanks again guys. The toruses I think are super nova remnants.
As I only have a 10", the 40min subs are long, but luckily, imaging time is something im not short of. The cam being NABG with these long subs means though I do get a lot of cosmic rays, in every sub.
