Nov 1st. Was imaging the looping prominence this morning on the Sun when a flare erupted. Was gone in less than 30 min. This single exposure was taken thru a Solarmax II 60 mm scope with a Canon 550d camera.
Flare is in AR 11884 (south east quadrant of sun). This AR is magnetically complex and flares were expected. The looping prominece was a good site as well. Thanks for viewing.
