Hi all,
I'm about to start writing an article on video astronomy. I have a couple of scopes at home I'll be using in the article, but I'm after something I don't have the skills in using - a German eq mount.
I would like to borrow someone's 8" f/4 eq mounted scope (could be 10" or 12", I'm not fussy,), and their skills to make the most practical use of time. I've got a car, so I'm happy to travel to your place in Sydney. I'll also bring my video camera and focal reducer (to take the scope to f/2) for the exercise.
I would also prefer the scope to be well within Sydney's light dome. This way I can standardise the images as the article will be focused on urban use of astro video. But I'm also happy to host you at my home (I'll bake a cake for the evening's consumption too :D).
Please let me know if you can help.
