OK, it's another M42. This is about 30 mins of exposure at various sub lengths from 15s-2mins, plus 50 mins of Ha blended into the red as well as used as luminance. All with the Canon EOS 60Da. Not sure about the widom of using an Ha filter with a DSLR - I *think* the Ha has brought out more detail but welcome feedback.

Nothing wrong with using a Ha filter with a 60Da. The camera will handle the filter, despite the bayer mask.

That looks great. I like that the trapezium stars are discernible. Great stuff.

Cheers guys. I think I've decided I like the Ha. Shane, I layer masked in some much shorter subs so as not to blow out the a Trapezium.
