Hi All,
Just sharing a image of Venus I imaged last evening. Properly experimented with the UVenus filter for the first time.

Hi Mariusz, that's a cracker of an image, great job. There seems to be a slight ghosting along the limb, is that becuase of how bright Venus is?

Hi Rex,
This image came up better then the last time I tried to toy with Venus quite a few months ago in the morning before packing up, then I didn't really give it much effort.
The ghosting seems to be cause by my TeleVue 3X Barlow. I got the same phomenon when I imaged Saturn using the same Barlow. Might be caused by a combination of the brightness and some reflections in the actual Barlow.
Like I said, Mariusz, it's a cracker. I find Venus hard to observe because it's so bright let alone try to image it, so you have done exceptionally well.

Thanks, but I think it's a fluke... So far my success rate in this is about 1/20...

Glad yours came up better than mine, I did 25 minutes of capture on Sunday evening only to discover that I had the resolution set too low, but I didn't discover this until after I stacked the video.

25 minutes of video??? At 60fps, 90,000frames?? that would be quite a stack... negative SNR perhaps...
What resolution did you capture in?
