There's a weekly ABC Radio Science program (also available anytime as an online podcast), called StarStuff, that covers astronomy, astrophysics and other space-related topics: StarStuff (http://www.abc.net.au/science/starstuff/)
There's also a blog with a few extra bits, such as interesting URLs: StarStuff Blog (http://abcstarstuff.tumblr.com)
And a twitter feed: @abcStarStuff (https://twitter.com/abcStarStuff)
I didn't even know this existed until today. There are some really interesting topics discussed - e.g. gravity waves and milli-second pulsars, dark lightning and terrestrial gamma rays, supernova candidates, the Chelyabinsk meteorite recovery, and more. And that's just the current episode.
Enjoy!
