Anyone using Adobe Creative Cloud?

Following a computer crash last week I am going through all my hardware/software needs and trying to rationalise my whole setup.
I have PS CS5 currently but am considering using CC.
I am moving some other applications to cloud stuff to reduce my dependence on hardware in the home, but I want to make sure that the CC version of PS is at least as useful as CS (ie not a cropped down version) before spending any $$$

Anyone have any thoughts?

Hey Malcolm,

I'm not personally using CC, but the designers at work are, and they were very insistant on upgrading from CS6 to CC because there is alot of additional programs and features that come with the CC version of the design suite.

Gives you lightroom/bridge/photoshop and it sounds like you get the full CC enhanced version of them. If you don't mind the monthly commitment it looks pretty good.

Think of your Bandwidth requirements. I went to 'the cloud' a year or so ago, to store my data and backups. The first upload was in progress when the elapsed time estimate came: 3.65 months! :eyepop:

Also consider if you are comfortable with giving your credit card details to Adobe. I had to cancel my Mastercard yesterday after finding a bunch of unauthorised transactions. This is a couple of weeks after the recent Adobe security breach. Could be a coincidence but I don't think so...

I wouldn't give my details to Adobe - 50/50 for security reasons and because i dislike the company as a whole.

But if you are comfortable providing the details then i havn't heard too much wrong with CC.
