Like I said on FB, very nice, like the palette and tones. Detail is sweet. No noise, great composition.

That's great work there Fred :) How do u think the RCOS RC 10" compares with the LX200R 12" OTA's now that u have gotten used to the 10" ?
What did you guide on ???
Beautiful work as usual Fred, well done !!!

Gee thanks Guys, im chuffed with the response, makes the effort worth it.
Even some from OS!. Wow, and John Gleason no less :D.
Josh. Its nearly full frame at about 25*35 arc/min FOV.
Paul/Allan. Being able to sharpen with no noise is all about megadata ;).
Steve. Startools makes it very easy to delete stars, with some artifact removal in PS.
Marcus. I could go deeper and/or shorter subs with the 12" LX200R. It needed more work to use, eg focusing more often, but megadata sure overcomes a lot of issues, I got excellent results with the Meade and could match the 10" with enough data and extra work in PS (and the larger ap helped of course)..
Andrew. Internal guide in the SBIG cam. The PME isnt set up perfectly actually, protrack is on but not PEC and guidings been a bit woofy lately, but again, megadata does magic.

Yeah, if you don't win a competition or two, or at least place, then I'd be very surprised.
That is a magnificent work of art.
I can imagine that hanging on a wall as a centrepiece somewhere. Minimalist and simple, yet elegant and beautiful at the same time.
