Last week I pulled an all-nighter, setting up the TAK, getting drift aligned, doing some observing, and finally doing some imaging.
My final drift alignment was still a little off but anyway here's one of my efforts for the night.
It's my first prime focussed image through this scope.

M8 The Lagoon Nebula

Details:

Telescope: TOA 130 at f/5.5
Mount: EM200
Camera: Canon 20Da
ISO: 1600
Exp: 17 x 60 sec (Darks and Flats applied)
Processed: Images Plus v2.75 and PS

I also would like to take this oppertunity to thank Bert for his post on drift alignment (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showpost.php?p=98873&postcount=3) which he put in simple terms so it's easily understood.
Thanks Bert.

Thank you for viewing and comments and suggestions most welcome.

Looks great Andrew,

I dont know how you could of held out for so long without doing some prime focus imaging.

Can you guide at all with this set up Andrew.

Very nice first image with the Tak.

That is a lovely image of the Lagoon Andrew, very nicely captured and processed as well. Only comment is keep doin' what you're doin' - it’s working!

Cheers

Thanks Tony and Dennis.

Tony I am hoping to get the setup ready for autoguiding but not just yet.
I know I've taken a long time to finally do imaging with the TAK, it's a little difficult without a permanent setup.
But one day I am hoping to build a home observatory.

Thanks again guys.
