Here an Image from the 8" F4 newt and 600D caught from Hastings Point, Sth of Gold Coast to escape LP, Clouds were none, breeze was stiff on the headland, so dropped back a few hundred meters for semi shelter. This image consists of 78 x 20 secs, no guiding !
Hope it worth a Squizz :P

Nice work, Bob! Are the stars sharp in the individual subs? DeepSkyStacker has a comet stacking mode that will give you both sharp stars and a sharp comet... might be worth looking into ;)
Nice capture - love the saturation/colour!

Thankya very kindly Rick & Kevin..
Thanx Dave. Re: Sharp stars, not exactly, infact the stacking improved them actually, true, wouldnt believe it, I kinda accidently, well, the mount actually is to blame :P it let go of the scope while balancing and it kinda crashed onto the bitumin  I couldnt believe nothing actually broke, fortunately also the Dslr was Not on it at the time, but the knock threw the collimation right out  Could only eye it roughly in, no tools, I not complaining one bit, the scope is fine apart from a scuff on the heavy end
I did thought of stacking comet with stars in DSS but I must be missing something as I could Not find the option, even in all the advanced allignment setting windows etc, I thought it strange there was Not any tab for comets, particularly when it was demistrated/shown in the help section, and it version 3.3.2, latest i think ? :screwy:
Hopefully someone may be able to shed some light on this,
Cheers . .
Thanx Lee, Laurie Chances, the color of cold ice with light, like on some Burgs in the arctic regions, very similar physics !
Cheers Justin, I remember your capture back in January, just checked it out and the resemblance is uncanny
