Its been a long time between successful imaging runs for me. Here's my efforts from yesterday. After resolving some comms issues and a failed USB hub, I've obviously overlooked a resolution setting In IC Capture on the new lappy so all these images are 1/2 size to what I usually do:rolleyes:. You get that when you're out of practice.

But it was good to successfully capture some solage again:).

The 1st all-disc shot looks like an oblate spheroid?:D

Hmmm. Oblate spheroid... I haven't looked at it yet on my other PC, I just uploaded direct from the lappy - I just thought it was the screen on the lappy, but obviusly there must be another setting I've missed in IC Capture I'd say.:rolleyes: More sorting to do for my next session...

PS. I've just had a play and all I can see is that I was using a DV Codec, rather than uncompressed:shrug:. Too cloudy here to check with another image of the sun, but normal terrestrial scenes look OK. I'll have to watch that when I get my next chance.

Yeah I know, Dave. Its been that long , its a learning curve all over again!

I think I was just so excited to get it all working again that I forgot the basics.
