What a great area to image in the LMC!!
I was going to image NGC 1955, but decided on NGC 2032 ( Dragons Head ) and 2020 ( Blue cheezel ) that's what I call it.
Seeing wasn't great but I'm happy with the colours that have come through.
I found this amazing image of the LMC. http://haysvillelibrary.files.wordpress.co m/2010/06/large-magellanic-cloud-complete-with-annotations-eso.jpg (http://haysvillelibrary.files.wordpress.co m/2010/06/large-magellanic-cloud-complete-with-annotations-eso.jpg)
A great reference if you want to do some imaging of the many nebulae.
8 minute subs. ISO 1600, 128 minutes.
Equipment used.
8" F/4 astrograph , baader type coma corrector,. HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D.
Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker.
Processed in Photoshop 7.
Cheers,
Justin.
